What are your hours?
Our hours vary by season. For the most current hours, see Hours and Info on our Home page. Here are our winter and summer hours:

What is included in a kayak rental/river trip?
Kayak, Personal Flotation Device, Paddle, and a free shuttle to our designated launch site.
How long does a river trip take to complete?
Our standard float trip is approximately 7 miles and takes an average of 4 hours to complete. A shorter trip of approximately 3 miles is available upon request. Other kayak rental options are available upon request. Please call for details.
What should I wear/bring on my river trip?
A sort of water shoe or old sneakers, sunglasses, shorts or bathing suit during the summer months. Try to avoid cotton because it takes longer to dry. Don't forget sunscreen! Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated and some snacks.
What happens if the weather is bad?
For safety reasons, the river levels are important! We utilize the Wilkes-Barre river gauge; a safe level is roughly 5 feet or below. If the river is predicted to be above this level, we will contact you to reschedule your trip. A little rain never hurt anyone but lightning is dangerous so we will avoid sending people out if lightning is predicted.
Do I need to pay in advance?
We only request a deposit with larger groups of people. Deposits are non-refundable. For smaller groups, it is best to call in advance to make a reservation.
